You can choose from three-phase or single-phase cables. When choosing a cable, an important parameter is its length, which will then make it easier for you to handle the cable in the garage or public car park. All charging cables are equipped with Mennekes Type2 plugs. This cable can be used when charging from a Wallbox with a socket (without integrated cable).
The term Mennekes has become common for charging cables. This German company, which produces various types of industrial electrical connectors and sockets, also started designing and manufacturing connectors for electric car charging with the rise of electromobility. In 2014, European legislation approved the charging connector designated as Type 2 as the European standard for electric vehicles sold in the European Union. If you hear the terms Mennekes cable or Type 2 cable, it refers to the same charging cable that you will use to charge your vehicle.
