LTE router Teltonika RUT24 - Quectel
This router (product code GM-RUT241) is equipped with a reliable Quectel cellular module. The Teltonika RUT241 is the successor and a modified version of the popular RUT240 router. Just like its predecessor, its main advantages include wide connectivity options, compatibility with the RMS remote management system, an industrial design, and very compact dimensions.
The RUT241 LTE router operates on 4G/LTE (Cat 4), 3G, and 2G mobile networks. It is an ideal choice for M2M and IoT applications that require a continuous and reliable data connection, easy configuration, and seamless remote accessibility.
Advanced Interfaces and Connection Continuity
The device is fitted with a fast 4G LTE module, Wi-Fi connectivity, two Ethernet ports, and a single SIM card slot. To achieve maximum signal quality, the router is equipped with SMA connectors for external antennas and LEDs for instant network status indication.
The RUT241 offers high reliability thanks to its Failover feature, which automatically switches to a backup connection in case the primary internet fails, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity. Furthermore, integrated digital Inputs/Outputs (I/O) combined with advanced software allow for the easy implementation of complex automation scenarios.
Secure RutOS Operating System
The RUT241 router comes with RutOS. This is a secure Linux-based operating system (OpenWrt) that is a key advantage when choosing Teltonika routers. This system provides advanced security features, encryption, VPN support, and full compatibility with the Teltonika RMS (Remote Management System) cloud platform.
Tip for Outdoor Installation Without Signal Loss
To use the router in demanding outdoor conditions (e.g. for camera systems, campers, boats or remote technological sites), we recommend purchasing the integrated omnidirectional antenna QuWireless QuSpot A240S to go with it.
This set acts as a robust, IP68 waterproof chassis where you can easily install the Teltonika router.
A Teltonika BAT120 backup power source can be purchased for the RUT241 router, which takes over the router's power supply for up to 6 hours during a power outage.
