On January 9, Gemalto once again confirmed that it is one of the most important companies in the field of IoT and digital security. Their award-winning Cinterion EMS31 LTE-M module, has earned AT&T certification on this day, expanding cellular connectivity possibilities for IoT solutions.
Thanks to its very low power consumption and IoT-optimized bandwidth, EMS31 enables highly efficient use of existing 4G networks. It is therefore ideal for use in places with limited power budgets and low data rates per day, such as metering, remote monitoring, healthcare, smart applications, and security systems. The first pilot programs should be available at the beginning of this year.
In the meantime, SECTRON offers a wide range of alternative modules from Gemalto that can be used right now. As their partner, SECTRON includes both Gemalto products and their own accessories as antennas or terminals fitted with these modules for their simple implementation.
