Trimble Bison BN1919
The Trimble Bison BN1919 is a DR + GNSS class module that features a microprocessor and integrated GNSS receiver. Thanks to its design, it provides accurate position data even in the harshest conditions. The module supports GPS and GLONASS constellations, making use of available satellite signals.
An important part of the Bison module is the 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer, which enable the measurement and determination of vehicle dynamics. These elements, together with the GNSS receiver, allow Bison to acquire, monitor and use GPS and GLONASS satellite signals anywhere in the world.
The Bison module is equipped with an integrated low-noise amplifier (LNA) that is compatible with both active and passive antennas. It also includes a built-in RTC (Real-Time Clock) and TCXO (Temperature-Compensated Crystal Oscillator) for more accurate time synchronization. The module has a built-in antenna for interrupt detection and circuit connection.
The Trimble Bison BN1919 module has compact dimensions of 19.0 mm x 10.0 mm x 2.54 mm.
Other notable features of the Bison module include 32 tracking channels and NMEA protocol support.
The Bison BN1919 is RoHS-compliant and suitable for a wide range of applications that require accurate and reliable positioning in automotive environments.
